Return Policy

At Glover Apothecary & Candle Company, we want you to be completely satisfied with your apothecary purchase. If for any reason you are not entirely happy with your order, we offer a hassle-free return process. Please review the following guidelines to ensure a smooth return experience:

Return Process:

  • You may initiate a return within 14 days of receiving your order(s).
  • To be eligible for a return, your purchase (candle, soap, balm, body butter or salve) must be unused, in the original packaging, and in the same condition as when received.
  • Contact our customer support team at customerservice@groverapothecary.com to initiate the return process. Please provide your order number and the reason for the return. Our team will provide you with a return authorization and instructions on how to package and send back the item(s).

Return Shipping:

  • The customer is responsible for return shipping costs, unless the return is due to a defective or damaged product.

Used Products, and/or Damaged, Defective Candles:

  • If you receive any product that you feel has been used or tampered with, please contact us within 3 days of receiving your order. We will arrange for a replacement or refund, and we will request photos of the tampered item(s) to assist in our assessment. 
  • If you receive a damaged, cracked or defective candle, please contact us within 3 days of receiving your order. We will arrange for a replacement or refund, and we request photos of the damaged item(s) to assist in our assessment.

Refund or Exchange:

  • Upon receiving photos and/or inspecting the returned item(s) in-house, we will process your refund or exchange.
  • If you choose a refund, the original payment method will be credited within 1-3 days after the return is approved.

Non-Returnable Items:

  • Custom or personalized candles, body butters, balms, soaps and salves are not eligible for return unless they are damaged or defective upon receipt.
  • Half-used products or items kept pass their return or exchange date will not be eligible for return.
